Winter Park is its own city just north of Orlando, and Park Avenue is where most people start: sidewalk tables, Central Park across the street, and restaurants that have been here long enough to have outlived their neighbors.
On Park Avenue: Briarpatch has done breakfast since 1980 and added dinner in 2025. Pannullo's has faced the park since 1993; the motto is that the only thing it overlooks is the park. Prato outlived its parent restaurant, Luma, and holds a 2026 Michelin recommendation. Bosphorous opened here in 2004 and calls itself Central Florida's original Turkish restaurant. Garp & Fuss, in the Hidden Garden courtyard, reopened after a July 2026 fire with a limited menu.
Just off it: The Glass Knife on Orlando Avenue, with Depression-glass chips in the terrazzo floor. The Ravenous Pig on Fairbanks, brewing its own beer since 2007. Hamilton's Kitchen at The Alfond Inn, whose hotel income funds Rollins scholarships. And for a drink, The Courtesy, Orlando's first dedicated cocktail bar, which moved up from downtown after ten years.
Not a ranking. Everything we track in Winter Park is on the neighborhood page.
